And No, its not that I forgot or am being lazy (ok maybe a little... ;))... but its also because there is major work being done on revamping the website and we are going to introduce new tools and features that will not only help you and your readers enjoy more benefits but also result in more traffic to your website.. You can use any of the following banners to link back to Blogging Indians , using any of the following methods :

You can save the image on your desktop [right click and then save target as], upload it on your homepage/ blog/ link page and then hyperlink to http://bloggingindians.blogspot.com

For this method first you need a free image hosting service (Flickr, 4FreeImageHost.com, ImageShack , etc).

After you have your image hosting, right click and save the Blogging Indians image to your computer.

Next, uploaded the image to your free image hosting service. You will then receive a URL for your image.

Now that you have the image URL, click “Add a Page Element” in your Blogger sidebar section and choose “HTML/JavaScript”. Add the following HTML code as shown:

Follow the steps below to make the necessary changes to the above code:

Insert the URL of Blogging Indians beginning with http:// where it states "YOUR BLOG URL". So you would insert http://bloggingindians.blogspot.com

Insert your image URL (from you free image service) where it states "YOUR PICTURE URL"

Insert the title of your blog where it states "YOUR BLOG TITLE"

The contact form will open up in the same window and when you click the submit button you will return to the Blogging Indians homepage. You must complete all boxes on the form when submitting your blog.

You will receive an answer from us as soon as we review your blog, irrespective of the fact that your blog was entered into the directory or not [Kindly be patient. As mentioned earlier it is a manual process and depending on the entries, can take time].

Submitting Your Blog

Please use the following guidelines when submitting your blog to Blogging Indians:

Only blogs written by Indians are going to be considered for entry in this blog. We will be checking, so please don't even try. If we can't verify that the blog was authored by an Indian it will be rejected (sorry).

ALL boxes on the Contact Page form must be completed.

All blogs submitted must have at least ten [10] entries posted and be twenty[20] days old to be considered.

No blogs that promote hate, pornography, illegal activities, gambling, violence or warez will be considered. We reserve the right to reject any blog.

Blogs written in languages other than English can also be submitted for inclusion in this directory. Just make sure you abide by rules.

You are allowed to select only one [1] category to add your blog.

You can submit as many blogs as you want, as long as they abide by the rules (if you publish five blogs, then submit all five).

Please make sure to keep your blogs updated as we will remove those blogs that fall dormant for more than 60 days.

Linking back to Blogging Indians is required. We will be having a monthly contest to get your blog listed in the "Featured" section of this blog and one of the requirements is to have a Blogging Indians link on your homepage or links page. Visit the Link to Blogging Indians page to select a link.

Each blog submitted will be manually reviewed by us and if approved will be submitted into the category of your choice. Being that Blogging Indians is new, you may suggest a category. You will receive an e-mail letting you know if your blog has been accepted [or not].
